TWO TYPES OF BLESSEDNESS
WHICH ONE ARE YOU GOING TO BE?
is a BLESSEDNESS FOR THOSE WHOSE 'SINS' ARE COVERED.
Romans 4:7 They are covered by the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST.
It is NOT THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This speaks of those WHO ARE NOT BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT.
They have known the work of the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. (as The Guilt Offering).
THEREFORE IF NOT BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT, ONE IS NOT CIRCUMCISED.
Romans 4:9-11 speaks of a BLESSEDNESS that Abram had while he was UNCIRCUMCISED IN THE FLESH. That physical circumcision was to CONFIRM AND ESTABLISH the Covenant God made with him through the sacrifices. Genesis 15:9-18.
NO SPIRIT BAPTISM
NO SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION
THIS IS THE MAINLINE POSITION
Unbaptized believer - the SACRIFICE OF THE LAMB OF GOD FOR YOU NEEDS TO BE CONFIRMED AND ESTABLISHED in you and that through being BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT, WHERE YOU ARE CIRCUMCISED BY THE SPIRIT. (During this process the work Jesus did as our Sin Offering takes place).
Col. 2:11 Romans 2:29
On the one hand the Blood WAS POURED out in a NEW COVENANT and on the other hand the SPIRIT POURED out, SEALS, CONFIRMS AND ESTABLISHES THAT COVENANT with the INDIVIDUAL.
AND AND AND
There is a BLESSEDNESS FOR THE MAN WHOSE SIN GOD WILL NEVER COUNT AGAINST HIM. Col. 2:13
This MAN is given HIS OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, Phil. 3:9, BY GOD.
Those WHO ARE BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT, have been CIRCUMCISED BY THE SPIRIT. Col. 2:11
THE COVENANT IS CONFIRMED AND ESTABLISHED by the
SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION AS GOD PROMISED, JUST AS it was when Abram OBEYED GOD
and circumcised his whole household.
Romans 4:12 Genesis 17:9-14
God changed Abram and Sara's names to Abraham and Sarah. Genesis 17:15-16
GOD GAVE A COMMAND to those under THE OLD COVENANT
"Any UNCIRCUMCISED MALE WHO HAS NOT BEEN CIRCUMCISED IN THE FLESH WILL BE CUT OFF FROM HIS PEOPLE because HE HAS BROKEN MY COVENANT."
So TODAY under the NEW COVENANT anyone NOT CIRCUMCISED BY THE SPIRIT
SHALL BE CUT OFF.
ONE IS SPIRITUALLY CIRCUMCISED.
This is the Spiritual position of those called Pentecostals or Charismatics.
NO SPIRIT BAPTISM
THEREFORE NOT SPIRITUALLY CIRCUMCISED
THEREFORE ONE IS NOT
